Not Enough Income

Biggest Challenge: Not enough income

--Jacqueline

Response from DM:

Dear Jacqueline:

Not having enough income is a difficult situation to find yourself in. That is a time when you have to truly look at your resources, income, and outgo, for yourself and the person you are responsible for. You should also figure out if social services are available, and if so, what forms you have to obtain and fill out. Make sure that you return all forms answered correctly and promptly (sometimes there are deadlines that have to be met). The reason I mention this is because when forms are not filled out correctly, they are often sent back by the agency, or they sit on someone's desk and the process comes to a halt, but sometimes you don't know that this has happened. The social services and their agencies are there to help but it is up to you to ask the right questions, or find the right people and organizations. It is a lot of work on your part, but finding the right answers and supportive people who can help you is worth the effort.

Most Sincerely,

Dr. Marion
