Dr. Marion travels across the US, visiting families who are burdened by the difficulty of taking care of an elderly loved one, providing advice and guidance to improve their lifestyle. The show is an entertaining, educational and heartfelt look into real families and their struggles, conflicts and triumphs. Relying on her nearly 40 years of experience, Dr. Marion helps these families work through their discord and physical barriers.

Dr. Marion has appeared on the Today Show, Good Morning America, the NBC Nightly News, NPR and dozens of local news programs. Her public service series, “Dr. Marion Minute,” currently airs on more than 300 radio outlets coast-to-coast, and she has been regularly quoted on elder care issues by AARP, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, MSN.com, and CNN, among many others.
Dr. Marion has an M.S. in Recreation Therapy from Lehman College (CUNY) in New York, and a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Development with a specialization in Gerontology, Retirement and Special Populations from The Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. She is trained as a New York State Nursing Home Administrator and created The Professional Geriatric Care Management Certificate Program at Hunter College’s Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging & Longevity.
